But, when someone has never used drugs or learned about drugs, I really don't expect them to even know what schedule 4 or schedule 3 or schedule 2 is. Class 5 would be like misdemeanor or felony, class 3, or class 2 or class 1. But it was still a super funny sketch 😄😆🤣😂😅😐.

Please do more of these. Maybe have time stamps so we can watch the scene first so we don't have spoilers by seeing the creative process

Trying it out again, to see if maybe a fresh set of eyes would help. But no. The skit is horrendous. Even with Gus and Sven acting it and adding in their context to make it try to fit, it sounds like the most jankily disconnected dialogue that it just does not flow well at all. Add to that that the jokes are all fairly middle of the road that even when the skit does elicit a chuckle it's quashed fairly quickly. Even if you like the video as a whole adverse to just the skit, I don't see why so many people are acting like the skit itself is "proof of Gus and Sven's comedic genius". Even taken as an exaggeration like it's most likely meant to be taken as, imo the skit is so bad in a general sense that this sort of reaction really leads into this idea that Gus and Sven could literally do anything at all for their skits and these people would think it's genius. And it infinitely bothers me that they kept the first two lines in for the lols. They kept in the Rick Roll sound effect. They kept in the monkey sounds. But the line was drawn in the sand with the ...line of sand, and that had to get mulliganed. Lines (not so much one, but definitely 2) were okay to keep, that wasn't too much a hiccup. Oh a Ruck Roll? Eh, sure we'll do it. Monkey ooh ooh, definitely sliding that one into my dms. None of that was too random or too disjointed enough to be mulliganed. But sand, not a single thing could come to mind. You give it a millisecond before instantly burying that line like it was never mentioned and trying to justify it by saying at this point it would be too hard to fit in in in a cohesive way. You know, because the previous lines were SOOO cohesive, you know, because fitting a line about sand cohesively into the end would have been SOO much harder than the Rick Roll or the monkey thing. It bothers me. I don't get the logic. They went almost the entire thing accepting everything, and I thought a number of those submissions were dumb, but I accepted it because they were accepting everything. It's a challenge, gotta see what we can make with what we get. But then they shot that in the foot by mulliganing the sand line. Once they set the precedent that any line could have been mulliganed it became less understandable that they kept some of those previous lines in, especially when related to them giving up on the sand line. Like, I honestly feel like I'm losing my mind over this. Christ they need to make up a new smear word for people like me if one doesn't already exist, I feel so god damn sweaty over here, but I can't stop having this reaction, I would like to stop thinking about this please. And then you've got the reactions from people. There is a such a heavy lean toward people liking this, but more than that people acting like it's god tier comedy. I mentioned it in a comment, but I think the fact that the creation side of the skit being the majority of the video makes the experience better. It suits up your expectations, tells you the rules and the context for everything so by the time the skit starts you had 10-12? minutes of prep time to temper your expectations. Plus since you already had your first reaction to the content as they were receiving it, when the skit came around you'd already had your initial thoughts, so your opinion on the skit itself is altered. Like, if this was just posted as the skit, no context, no anything, just the skit, then they wouldn't be so excited about it. It would have drawn so much more attention to how the lines really only connect in the thinnest possible ways, and just really isn't that funny, especially considering the quality I tend to levy toward Gus and Sven. Anyway, rant over, but I can't promise I won't be back. I got laid off and have a lot of free time, soooooo, I'm losing my mind.
